Mike Larson was my realtor for choosing a new home. I always thought that I would continue to rent. He encouraged me to be tenacious about finding what I wanted, and he encourages me to say what I did not want. I learned to say that I did not want a lack of safety, plastic trim, too much-dated material or decoration, or terrible flaws in the structure. I learned to research and call HOAs re history of condos. I did not get very good at saying that I never wanted baseboard heat. Mike encouraged me to find a place that I loved. While the place I finally chose, I would not have described as " I could live here forever," which was what is what I said about a place that the seller did not want to sell at appraisal price, Mike helped me to find a place that I absolutely love. I can walk to the grocery store, to the library, and to local parks. My HOA companions are delightful, and there are only ten condos in the association. My condo mates call me the "plant whisperer." Additionally, I am across the street from UPPG, where I have a garden plot, and through our association, we donated last year, over 3,000 pounds of organic produce to the food bank. Mike Larson's patience helped me to find a great home. While I thought I was downsizing, my square footage is actually larger. Still, I got rid of tons of stuff. I have a gas fireplace and ac, both of which I love and never dreamed of. Mike helped me to consider options of what I really wanted as a 60-year-old single mom. Mike is so patient and knowledgeable! I recommend him unequivocally.
